We live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, about 9 miles from Craggy
Gardens and the Blue Ridge Parkway, and about 30 miles from Mount Mitchell which is
the highest point east of the Rockies. My ancestors settled in this valley over 200 years
ago.
I became interested in the Ragdoll cat after many sad experiences with stray cats. I
just thought there had to be a better way. After reading all I could find about the
Ragdoll I decided to try to find a breeder and see the Ragdoll for myself. My daughter
and I found a breeder about 60 miles away. My first Ragdoll kitten, Anastacia Misty
came from High Country cattery. She was completely devoted to me and sleeps beside
my pillow, next to my head. As the saying goes, the rest is history.
My objective as a breeder is to have healthy, devoted, beautiful cats.
